Here are my first 6 valuable lessons as a beginner trader in cryptocurrencies and the story behind it.

Few years ago I started getting information about cryptocurrencies in general and Bitcoin in particular, there were a lot of information and I heard my friends talking about this digital currency "BTC" that blew up the news, I decided to start gathering information about this field and I began by asking questions like: what is Bitcoin? Why is it created? What are the reasons behind it and behind every single altcoin? and more questions that came to my mind.

Understand what you're investing in.

Back in 2021 I bought some coins of a digital currency without mentioning its name, I did that without researching about it, without making an effort, or even get a full understanding of what is it all about!

I only heard that this coin will blew up the market, and at that time the price was good and it was going up and up until the bear market came, the prices fall and my temporary joy left.

See the game from both sides.

At that moment I invested all my money, all what I have and this point leads us to my second stupid mistake which is I didn’t think about losing all my money, I’d only seen the bright side of it, I never thought about the dark side of the game.

Never forget that there is something called volatility.

While we talk about cryptocurrencies, it is primitive that we mention volatility, because cryptocurrencies market and volatility are inextricably linked to each other no matter in which way the prices go we should always be careful about it.

Trade with what you can afford and are you willing to lose.

Putting more money that I couldn't afford is a huge mistake that I have ever made, we can't predict the market so why do we put more than we could?

Never neglect to manage the risk.

Just imagine with me if I have done that? If I had managed my risk and decided to stop my lost before the catastrophic happened? Wouldn’t it be awesome? At least I can get back some amount of my investment, better than nothing.

The past is the past.

With all these notes and lessons in mind, and beside that I have learnt that what happened in the past remains there, we are human I should learn from my mistakes, try my best to avoid them, investing or trading in crypto is something that you should take with a grain of salt, I am starting again but starting small and just putting money that I can afford, this is my story, the story that I have learned a lot from it.
