Ballymastocker bay is located on the Fanad peninsula, County Donegal in Ireland. This stripe of white sand was appointed the second most beautiful beach in the world by the readers of the British Observer.

It's a cold afternoon of February, but the sun has been (lightly) warming up the day, so I could have this quite long walk on the beach. The walk is 40 minutes long through 3,2 kms of sand, rocks and grass.

On the other side of the bay, the snowy hills of the Inishowen peninsula get hit by the magic light of the northern sun : beautiful and mesmerizing.
