Greetings you all!

With recent ups and downs of BTC, and promises of rising with the next halving, I present to you the BTC cookies.

Also available in other crypto cookies.

With this BTC cookie, fear no ups and downs, you’ll definitely feel up with this sugary and buttery cookie.

We used BTC cookie cutters, but hey you can go bananas and use a knife, actual coins, swords, broken dreams or failed investments .. you name it.

Find the recipe bellow.

BTC Cookie dough:

  • 2 cups flour - 400 grams
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter - 250 grams
  • 1 cup sugar - 180 grams
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla (or other flavoring)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (or other flavoring)
  • 1 egg

Procedure:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 °F / 175 °C.
  • Line a baking sheet or cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Sift flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl.
  • In another bowl cream the sugar, vanilla and almond essence with the butter until light and fluffy. Add the egg and mix until combined.
  • At a lower speed add the flour mixture a little bit at a time. Mix until combined and the dough starts to come together. Take the dough out of the bowl, shape into a ball, cover with clingfilm and put in the fridge to chill for at least 1 hour.
  • On a floured work surface roll out the dough to 0,2 inch (0,5 cm) thick and cut into shapes.
  • Transfer cookies to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until the cookies start to turn brown around the edges.

After baking we placed the BTC cookies on a tray, and filled with some icing, you don't have to, but its gonna take this BTC cookie to flavor town!

Royal Glacé (Icing) :

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar - 180 grams
  • lemon juice

Just combine egg white and lemon juice , whip it vigorously, and keep adding the sugar. Fill the cookies up and place a lil inside the fridge.

Voilá. Its ready to pop those BTC cookies into you tummy and watch it grow!!

If you don't have essences, no biggie.

They’ll be good regardless, because it has sugar and butter.

If you never baked before,  this is great for you, as one of my chickens  accomplished with minimal effort, mixing all ingredients with is bare paws.

Hope y'all enjoy this BTC cookies during this confinement .
