Let's welcome back again our pretty model Ms. Maribelle Luyas Ortega.
Look at the Beautiful Scenery at her back! So Amazingly Beautiful!
Basay is a coastal town in the Province of Negros Oriental.
Negros Oriental occupied the Southeastern Part of the Island Called Negros.
It is a small coastal town that faced to the west of Sulu Sea. Is very popular to locals and tourist alike for fishing.
History of Basay
During World War 2 Colonel Jesus Villamor was acting on direct orders by General Douglas MacArthur who was in Australia during that time.
He headed a party that landed a submarine in Balatong point.
This submarine carried the largest shipment of ammunition for the Negros Oriental Region.
Basay was used to be among the neighboring City of Bayawan.
In which distance is 15 km from the Town itself.
In the year 1971 it was finally got it's own Independence from Bayawan and declared The City itself who became it's own Municipality.
The Town experienced it's rapid growth in 1970's when the Copper Development Corporation Mine and Inko Group of Companies started mining Copper and Ion Ore in the Region.
The area produces sugar cane, corn and rice.
They have the richest fishing sea in the country.
Where is the most fisherman can always be seen at Mindanao Sea.
How can you get to Basay?
Basay is 125 km from Dumaguete.
In order to get there you need to:
-Go to the Bus station and ride the Bus Ceres Bound to Bayawan City. Travelling takes two and a half hours. So during this time feel free to relax and sleep a little in the Bus.
-When you reach the Bayawan City Proper. Go to Bayawan Market and Ride a jeepney Bound to Basay. Travelling takes only 20 minutes to reach Basay.

Seashells and Clam Hunting
Since it's low tide Maribelle decided to pick and look for some sea shells and maybe a clams too? It's very yummy when you cook clam soup.
Oh! Still Maribelle did not found any clams? hehe. You can do it! Go Girl!
Oh Still they found nothing.
Maribelle still no clams? hehe She is very busy looking for it.
Since she didn't found any seashells or clams. She just do the modelling and picture taking.
Although it's tiring looking for seashells and clams it's very fun too.
Finding Nemo
I'm wondering what are they looking for? Nemo? where are you? hehe..
Oh my Gosh!!! Where are you Nemo?
But kidding aside I wonder what was she is looking for?

You can enjoy through modelling too. Promoting the Green Scenery and Beauty of the Surroundings.
The trees are very healthy. I guess the soil is very rich in nutrients.

Maribelle Really likes The Trees!
Eventhough the trees are lying but still it has a green leaves! It managed to survived.
Modelling under the tree is very fun! And it seems they are really enjoying this trip.

Building Sand Castle is always been fun. Just be careful with your eyes.
If the sand enter inside your eyes it's a real pain.
This is Maribelle's pretty baby girl.
Oh what happened? She did not able to make a sand castle.. Don't be sad baby Girl! Call your mom and let her make a castle for you...
Relaxing under the shade of a Tree
If you don't like Strolling and Swimming.
