We Did It, Fam!

You aren't going to believe what happened in the past few months. I am so sorry it has been weeks since the ink has dried on the contracts but I have been insanely busy since this came about. You may remember my last post about starting a restaurant and how I had to walk away because the deal was so awful.

In August I was driving past the old biker bar here in town on the main drag. It has been closed down for several years and the owner was trying to sell it and the liquor license for $250,000. It was way too rich for my poor blood at the time so I didn't even give it any real consideration. I noticed that he had just hung a new sign that said "1000 sq. ft. STOREFRONT for RENT." I immediately stopped and called the phone number on the sign and left a message.

The landlord called me back and told me to stop on by and check it out. We spent an hour together and he showed me the place.

It was absolutely gorgeous - cigarette burns and all!
