Crow with Knife (CAW) is one of the latest memecoins that is taking the Cronos ecosystem by storm. Whether you are a battle-hardened crypto veteran, a meme connoisseur, or simply here for the vibes, one of the questions you may be thinking is "what the hell is CAW and how do it get some"? 

Firstly (and perhaps most importantly), do not confuse Crow with Knife with CAW (a hunters dream).  The former is an up and coming memecoin, the latter is.... something else. For clarity, Crow with Knifes contract token is: 0xccccccccdbec186dc426f8b5628af94737df0e60

When i use the acronym CAW in this article, im referring to Crow with Knife.

Why Buy Crow with Knife?

Well, quite simply put, CAW is one of the first memecoins in the cronos space that seems to have gotten everyone excited. Ive been in the space for a while and i have not seen the Cronos community so united behind a token before. Dont take my word for it, DYOR and head down to Twitter / X and check it out for yourself. 

But if you do not believe what you see on social media (and who can blame you?), check out the volume trend for the ticker on coingecko for yourself.  

The main reason why im bullish on CAW is because it is a new token that has gained insane popularity in a short amount of time and has incredible momentum behind it. One recent catalyst behind the price action was CAW being listed on the crypto.com defi wallet app (its a custodian wallet, not to be confused with the crypto.com main app). I personally expect the token to surge again when it is listed on major exchanges like crypto.com (and who knows, maybe even Binance).

How to buy Crow with Knife?

So lets say youre convinced, how do you buy the token? The first and most straightforward method would be to swap it on VVS Finance, much like how you would do so for other Defi apps like uniswap, cake defi etc. For those who are new to the Cronos ecosystem, VVS is one of the OGs in the cronos ecosystem and a trustworthy defi provider in the space. 

The second method is to do so with the crypto.com Defi wallet, and because the CDC Defi wallet is not so well known, i will be adding some screenshots here as well. 

Step 1: Download the CDC Defi Wallet app and sign up for it (no screenshots provided because cmon, thats easy AF). Make sure to load your wallet with the CRO token, as CRO is used to pay the gas fees for the transactions on Cronos network (and assuming you want to swap CRO for CAW, then you need some CRO on hand as well). If youre an existing CDC App user, you should be able to send CRO from your CDC app into the CDC defi wallet for free.

Step 2: At the homescreen, click "Browser" 

Step 3: Select VVS Finance

Step 4: Connect your Wallet (make sure youre on the cronos ecosystem as your preferred network)

Step 5: Click trade and then Swap

Step 5: choose the token to swap, confirm the amount and then Swap! Thats it!
