You're Paying Too Much Attention to Crypto

For the past century, we were consumed by selfish concerns, obsessed with trivial matters like the new CR7 YouTube channel, or when the next Bitcoin bull market would begin. We wanted our bellies full.

Meanwhile, Earth had been warning us all along. The climate shifted, sea levels rose, storms grew stronger, the forests have burned. And still... we turned a blind eye.

We didn't stop producing weapons and exploiting every single human being. We waged wars endlessly. Conflict after conflict we've weakened humanity as a whole.

In 2099, from the mountains of rotting corpses on battlefields and the overcrowded shelters, something new emerged. From the wreckage of our own destruction, with no food to eat and with such polluted air environment, sick pigeons started to reproduce with the infested rats from the unharvested fields. Fast, silent, deadly, the Ratatigeon overpopulated the planet Earth in a matter of months and has devastated every single animal with his disease spreading ability.

Lions disappeared. There were no birds in the sky. I didn't have to hide from the bears. Until this day.... I don't remember the last time I've spoke to another human.

And I don't think I'll ever will.
