In 1991 was released the remake (in color) of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? the film directed by
Robert Aldrich who I hope you've all seen by now.
Directed by David Green (a good director with a curriculum of more than 80 films between cinema and TV) and with two excellent leading actresses, the Redgrave sisters (Lynn Redgrave and Vanessa Redgrave), it is a good quality American TV film.
In 2007 the DVD of the film was released in the United States for the
Direct Source Label (English-French-Spanish language, no subtitles, correct 4/3 video format).
Although it does not have a video quality to make people cry out for a miracle, it is still seen better than the vhs.
The problem is that after watching it I immediately noticed some cuts that are not on the vhs.
Three scenes about 2-3 minutes long each.
Why are they missing on the American DVD?
Mystery.
