Robert Morgan is a British independent amateur filmmaker who has directed numerous short films.
The one with the longest duration lasts 23 minutes.
The peculiarity of his shorts, in addition to their almost always morbid / macabre atmosphere, is the Svankmajer-style stop motion (if you don't know who Svankmajer is, I suggest you watch his films) which in some of his works he alternates with real actors .
In others, he only uses his creations made with papier-mâché or plasticine and then animated in stop motion.
His first short, Paranoid of just 5 minutes, dates back to 1994 and in the following years he continues to direct others.
Among my favorites The Cat with Hands from 2001, just 3 and a half minutes long, in which stop motion and real actors alternate.
The story tells of a cat that can take body parts from humans just by touching them.
Evidently someone must have noticed his talent since in 2014 he participates in the episodic film ABCs of death 2 with "D is for Deloused".
Official DVDs of his works are now very difficult to find.
Morgan sold them directly from his website in a limited edition but now they are no longer available.
