60 minutes reported on its last portion of the episode on Cryptocurency, Bitcoin more specifically.
That´s amazing!!!
Although they did not go in to masive details on blockchain technology it seemed more like a introduction to the maintream world.
They began by explaining the Wall Street crash and how people started having distrust in finantial institutions wich got the ball rolling on Bitcoin investemnt.
They mentioned briefly Satoshi Nakamoto and they interviwed the guy that bought pizza for 10,000 BTC wich would be $800,000 DL today.
They interviwed and showed the rise and fall of Charie Sharem´s company backed by the Facebook twins.
But the main focus which shows how materialistic this world is, was the ¨Pizza Guy¨ interview ... Anderson Coopers face was priceless.
Over all this 60 Minutes episode disapointed me because it could have been incredably informative about the Crypto Ecosystem, how to have and sustain it; but instead they dummed it down for the public.
I hope this was just an introduction and they do a more informative and eye opening episode.
Have a great day!
