AI, or artificial intelligence, is one of the biggest tools or powers that are currently revolving around the market. It's all started with the launch of CHATGPT, an AI texting bot that's a product of OPEN AI, in collaboration or partnership with Microsoft, and we all know Microsoft has a long record of maintaining a monopoly of its company in the market with its strategical tactics to end rival companies. Now you see that Microsoft's Bing is trying to enter the search market that is dominantly captured by Google.

What is Gemini? 

Gemini is a natively multimodal system from Google that focuses on multimodality with supported interaction with images and text and could be with voice in the near future. It runs mainly as a variety of Ultra, Pro, and Nano series.

Why is it important for Google?

As of now, about 58% of Google's earnings of around $162 billion come from ADS (Google search and others), with regular active users of about 4.2 billion. CHATGPT basically means Microsoft has reached about 180 million users in just about 60 days, and at that speed, it could cover up the major market of Google and start to manipulate the search market. More than that, Microsoft's earning sources are so vibrant that even if they fail, it doesn't cause any harm to Microsoft but is a big setback to Google.

Gemini is a big announcement that raised the price of Alphabet shares by 5%, or about $80 billion, in their company value, and if now they fail back then they blunder at the time of Bard, it could be the end for Google because Open AI is also planning to launch its ChatGPT 5 version very soon.

Variants of Gemini :

Gemini Nano: It's a mobile application that provides all the search results in real time without internet connectivity. It's a lite version of Gemini Pro.

Gemini Pro: It's a more defined and bigger version that works as a chatbot that provides all the search results with image, audio, and video interaction in the mean time, as well as bard capability. 

Gemini Ultra: Gemini Ultra is a benchmark in the AI world that could interact with users in areas like image understanding, video understanding, and other features.

Gemini also beat ChatGPT in around every search test; some of them are MMLU, GSM8K, Math, DROP, and many more, where Gemini even beat the highest human record of 89.2% by 90% in MMLU (multiple choice question in 57 subjects). But it's still an announcement, and according to company statistics, the real test was taken by users, and the results will be clear soon.
