Hello guys, I hope you all doing well!

Currently the market is fearful of the Chinese New AI Model DeepSeek; from OpenAI to other tech companies, all got affected by this. The media is covering both aspects of that AI.

Many people are praising this as it's an open-source AI, while a lot of people are stating that it's just a cheap copy of ChatGPT, a product of OpenAI.

As far as I have learned, all I get to know is that DeepSeek can't even do normal image or video generation and hides or skips a lot of controversial topics in China, from skipping news or comments on its rival countries or their leaders.

University of Pennsylvania in collaboration with a research team at cisco. While the team uses "algorithmic jailbreaking," it runs around 50 prompts from the HarmBench dataset. The research team reported that DeepSeek R1 had a 100% attack success rate, which means it did not block a single destructive prompt.

In my opinion, Deepseek is just a failed try of China to enter into the AI market and stand as a rival in front of other market players.
