Troubled Times

By rulingnet | RulingNet | 10 Jul 2020

So, it's the year 2020 and it would seem that we are playing a game of apocalypse bingo. I wonder how long before someone actually shout's "Bingo!" ?

I personally have been on Lock-down  for longer than most. I have had some, lets say, less than good experiences lately, that caused me to be in hospital for some while.  I know how tough it can be on the psyche, how difficult life can get.  Not seeing anyone for weeks at a time, with the exception of the grocery deliveries and packages from amazon you ordered, that you really didn't need.  That has been, at some points, the highlight of my day.

For most Lock-down has been since 23rd March 2020.  So what have you learned at home with all this spare time? Did you make Banana Bread, learn a new language, go down the wrong end of the internet?  Did you do anything to improve yourself or your knowledge base?

I for one went on a learning spree.  I learned a lot about what the Rona is and isn't (not sure i'f the word is taboo on this site).  I learned about myself and how not to cope vs how to cope.  For example, in the beginning of C19 I watched all the madness as the toilet paper was being snatched up.  All the hand sanitiser... gone ! I was home bound and could only stand by, a gasp at the situation.  I started to watch many of the daily briefings by the gov't. It began to really depress me.  I noticed something during this time, there seemed to be some things that didn't add up.

The numbers seemed off.  I couldn't put my finger on it at first and brushed it off.  The thought kept on niggling me, in the back of my mind, it seemed that something just wasn't right.  I began to look into things bit by bit. This was where I noticed that the narrative being presented to me was just that, rhetorical narrative.  First thing I stumbled upon after the lock-down was that the lock-down took place after the Govt had already downgraded it.  See the screen capture below or check the link for yourself https://www.gov.uk/guidance/high-consequence-infectious-diseases-hcid

Covid-19 Status 19th March 2020

I started asking questions and absorbing as much as I could with what was available and overtime, my suspicions were not proven to be unfounded.  For example  at the time of downloading the data from the govt website, (data was up to 1st June) there were 60 NHS Trust in the UK with less than 10 deaths. How can a so called "Virus" be so selective ?  Out of those 60, 18 NHS Trusts had reported only 1 death each.   This does not sound like a pandemic.   I was going to post a link to download the figures for yourselves. Unfortunately the gov.uk has changed the website and now showing only graphs.  Which means you can no longer investigate so easily.

I have noticed that the language that is used regarding the Rona is interesting too.  People don't seem to die "of"  the Virus they all seem to die "with" it.  There is a big difference.  Another thing I noticed about the language used on the government website and on the ONS (Office For National Statistics) website. Most of the reports mention "Involving" Corona, again not died of.

I have been watching the daily briefings from the govt, not so much recently, but I did find this very interesting video which is very revealing.  There was a period where care homes were pretty much ignored. This is a  video that addresses the subject. Matt Hancock Stated "even in normal times, about ten thousand people die, each month in care homes." What do you make of it ?

Are we being lied to ?

These are my personal observations, and I felt the need to share what I have learned so far. I leave it up to you, to research for yourselves.
