Last week I introduced the new "Beach, Please" event series in RollerCoin: five days (28 July – 2 August), four events, four miners, and one complete Beach Set worth 10,000,000,000 Gh/s + 600% bonus.
Today I want to talk about something you don't read very often in crypto-gaming posts: knowing when to stop.

Where I ended up: level 19 of Sand Job
Sand Job is the progression event of the series (28–31 July), and its headline rewards are the Mine-a Colada miner and the Beach Rack 8.
Here's what I did:
- Activated a x5 multiplier on my points
- Bought lootboxes to farm extra points
- Cleared every quest I could reasonably clear
And I made it to level 19. That's exactly where I'm planting my beach umbrella. Not because I gave up — because the numbers told me to.

The math behind quitting
Progression events in RollerCoin are back-loaded on purpose. The good stuff sits at the end of the track, and each new level costs more while your point income stays flat unless you pay for more.
Look at the ladder:
- Level 20: Beachside Billionaire — 21,705,495 Gh/s
- Level 21: Beach Rack 8
- Level 35: Mine-a Colada — 4,000,000,000 Gh/s + 70%
The miner I actually want is roughly 184 times more powerful than the reward sitting one level above me. Two more levels wouldn't change my room. Sixteen more levels would — and at my current point rate, sixteen levels means burning RLT I'd rather keep. So the honest answer is: at my level, the top of this track was never realistically mine. Recognising that early is worth much more than pushing two levels out of pride.

What I'd do differently (and will do next time)
The event multiplier scales all the way up to x1000. That's the whole game right there.
Instead of spreading a small budget across every progression event that comes along, the smarter play looks like this:
- Bank your resources between events instead of spending the moment a new one drops.
- Build the biggest multiplier you can afford before you start grinding — points earned at x5 and points earned at x100 are not the same points.
- Pick one progression event you can actually finish, and go all-in on that one.
Spending a little on every event gets you a collection of level 19s. Saving up and spending everything on one event gets you the level 35 miner. That's why from here I'm switching my focus to the Golden Pass, where the value per RLT is far friendlier, and banking the rest for the next progression event. And while I wait, I keep climbing the boring way: merging miners. No RLT, no rush, just small upgrades stacking up day after day. It's not glamorous, but it's what got me to #10,791 out of 5,507,321 players — and it has never once asked me to gamble on a lootbox.

And then there's the Bartender… 199 RLT 🍹
Right on cue, RollerCoin put the Bartender miner on sale in the House Special Sale (30 July – 2 August):
- 1.5 Eh/s + 40% bonus
- Common, 2 cells, can't be sold, 1 per account
- 199 RLT, down from 600 (-65%)
Yes, the discount is real. No, that doesn't automatically make it a good buy.
Here's the part a lot of people miss: you need 2 of the 4 Beach miners just to unlock the first set bonus (50%). Buying the Bartender on its own gets you one common miner and no set bonus at all — unless you also land a second one from Beach Bum (puzzle event) or Make Waves (lootbox event), both running 31 July – 2 August.
My take:
- Veteran with RLT sitting idle? Fair enough. It's a real discount and it moves you towards the set.
- New or small player? 199 RLT is a lot of ground you could cover elsewhere — permanent racks, better power-per-cell, or simply saving for a season pass. FOMO sales are how small accounts stay small.
Events like this are best worked when you already have a stack behind you. Until then, the free events are your best friends.

My plan for the rest of Beach, Please
- Stop at level 19 in Sand Job and collect what's there
- Push the Golden Pass — best value per RLT right now
- Play Beach Bum and Make Waves for a free shot at a second set miner
- No Bartender purchase, no more lootboxes
- Bank everything else for the next progression event, with a proper multiplier behind it
The takeaway
RollerCoin rewards patience far more than it rewards enthusiasm. The players with monster rooms didn't win every event — they picked their battles and let them compound. Know your ceiling before you spend. Then spend it all at once, in the right place.
🎮 Not playing RollerCoin yet?
It's a free game where you play mini-games, build your own virtual mining room and earn real crypto. You don't need to invest a single euro to start — and I've got a whole blog series here walking you through it.

Sign up with my link and we both get a boost to start with. Then come back and tell me how far you got in Sand Job — I'm betting a few of you beat 19. If this post saved you 199 RLT, a tip and a follow go a long way. See you at the beach bar. 😄
