This isn't really much of a post, but more of an update on one of the free crypto earning apps that I use. It seems as though, for United States based users anyway, that the ZBD crypto app is requiring users to submit official identification documents in order to continue withdrawing earnings from the app. While some may not mind submitting to such a KYC ("know your customer") protocol, I will not and will no longer be using the app. I'm just not comfortable providing that information. It is what it is.
Aside the addition of KYC, ZBD has significantly dropped its rewards. When I first started using the app, watching a brief 15-30 second video app would be awarded 10 satoshis. They then dropped it down to 5 satoshis.
This post is not meant to be a slander on ZBD; I am just sharing my opinion and thoughts on the matter. ZBD is still a great app for earning some free crypto. But, at this point, what they are asking for from me is not worth exchanging for a few free satoshis. I will also no longer be using the Bitcoin Miner app, as the only way to withdraw satoshis from that game is to the ZBD wallet.
So, I am now dropping two apps off of my "free crypto earning" app list. Like I said, some people may not mind submitting to KYC but I simply prefer not to. To each his own! ZBD and the Bitcoin Miner app have always been great: always paying out with no issues, no insane minimum withdrawal ceilings, good support the few times I had to use it. A few times the ZBD app said I was using a VPN, when in fact I wasn't. But nothing is perfect.
Anyway, for the latest on the ZBD app, the ZBD Reddit community is a solid resource.
