Hello fellow P0x'ers and bitcoin mining enthusiasts! Let's just cut to the chase and jump right to it. After all, sometimes you just have to get down to the nitty gritty. In case you haven't seen it, SoloSatoshi has just unveiled the most recent BitAxe to date. Let's get a drum roll please...

Feast your eyes on the big beautiful BitAxe Gamma Hex! This bad boy features 6 (you read that right, count 'em -- SIX) BM1370 ASIC chips. It has an incredible default hashrate of 8.4 TH/s, which is a wallop for a home miner. Please don't tell me about industrial miners...yes, we all know that those are much more powerful. Back to the Hex -- it can be overclocked to achieve a hashrate of 11 TH/s. It consumes a mere 140 watts and features hydro cooling with RGB.

Like all others in the BitAxe series, it runs the open-source AxeOS and is specifically designed for solo mining, though they can be configured for pool mining if you choose to do so.

In case you're licking your lips and wondering where you can get your hands on one of these beauties, hold tight. They're not quite on sale yet. But you can bet that SoloSatoshi will let you know as soon as they're available. Users on X are already joking, saying they want 10 of them! Though I wouldn't put it past certain people to actually do that. Imagine a BitAxe Hex farm: 10 units pushing a collective hashrate of 100 TH/s. That would actually be pretty impressive.

The Mining Disrupt 2026 Conference took place from July 21 to July 23, 2026 at the Miami Airport Convention Center (DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel) in Miami, Florida. Marking its 8th annual gathering, this year's expo tracked a massive turnout of over 200 exhibiting companies and more than 5,000 global attendees. Demonstrations highlighted how a Gamma Hex can run seamlessly on a small 12V power supply for roughly $6.48 a month in electricity, that consumer-level hardware has greatly matured in recent years.
