Slice Now Requiring Phone Verification

Slice Now Requiring Phone Verification

Hello fellow P0x'ers!! Just wanted to provide a quick update, as part of my free crypto earning series. If you are using the Slice browser extension for Google Chrome (or any Chrome-based browser like Brave), you should be aware that they are now requiring phone verification to withdraw those sweet, hard-earned slices.

In case you were not aware, Slice is an extension that allows you to earn free Bitcoin sats simply by installing the extension. They show you some relevant ads, you get paid a few peanuts in the form of slices, which can then be withdrawn as sats via the Bitcoin Lightning Network. Bear in mind that there is a 30-day waiting period for earned slices, as an anti-fraud measure.

Anyway, getting back to the point of this post and continuing along the lines of anti-fraud measure, Slice users are now required to verify their phone numbers to withdraw. If you happen to be outside of Europe and see the European phone number format, fear not! Virtually any standard phone number can be formatted into the international standards used in Europe.

If you find yourself getting frustrated trying to verify your number -- Just start with the plus sign + and then add your country code. Here are some examples:

I'm sure you could have figured that out yourself, but I just wanted to provide a helpful tip! As part of my personal ongoing free crypto earning journey, I try to provide updates on the platforms I use in case anyone is on the same journey. All of these apps/extensions/websites are constantly evolving, adapting to new regulations, and adding new features. I feel it is my interwebs duty to try to keep everyone updated, to the best of my ability.

Sometimes, these platforms suddenly vanish or become unavailable in certain countries, so I always make sure to withdraw any hard-earned free crypto as soon as the minimum threshold is reached. That way, should a platform suddenly disappear, I don't lose that sweet crypto dust.

Anyway, once you verify your phone number with Slice, those payout buttons will become available again:

So, that's it for now. Carry on and stay safe in the digital world of crypto! Always verify.
