McRib is Back
According to the McDonald's website, the fan favorite McRib Sandwich is back for 2022. Apparently, this is the last time the tangy barbeque masterpiece will grace the taste buds of Americans. The company states on its website: "Get one while you can because this is the McRib Farewell Tour."

How Long Will It Last?
The McRib Farewell Tour ends on November 20, 2022. So hurry up because there's less than a month to tantalize your tongue with that sweet saucy formed pork patty!
Where Can I Get One?
You'll have to check your McDonald's app to find the location nearest you carrying the McRib. As always, price and participation may vary.
Why Does Everyone Seemingly Flip Out Over the McRib?
I don't know. To be honest, I've never eaten one and I've been around long enough to see it come and go dozens of times. McDonald's has actually use the very phrase "farewell tour" to describe its limited availability three times in the past. I don't think this will be the last time the sandwich is seen, just in case you are losing sleep over it. To me, it's a marketing ploy: people will buy more if they think it's their last chance to taste it.
What is the McRib?
The McRib consists of a reconstituted pork patty that is shaped like a mini rack of ribs, BBQ sauce, onions, and pickles. All the ingredients are piled on a sandwich roll.

When Did the McRib First Come Out?
The McRib made its debut in 1981. It was conceived of by Executive Chef Rene Arend, who also invented the Chicken McNuggets.
