Video-sharing platform Rumble is bringing Bitcoin tipping to its platform, starting in December 2025. The announcement was made at the Plan ₿ Forum in Switzerland on October 24, 2025. Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski stated that the company is still in the testing phase, but they are working alongisde their partner Tether to roll out a new Rumble Wallet System. The wallet, which will be native to the Rumble platform, was developed with crypto firm Moonpay.

Tether owns 113 million shares of publicly-traded Rumble, representing 47.9% of the company. Over 50 million users are on the video sharing platform. The Bitcoin tipping system will allow creators to keep more of the earnings, without paying the fees legacy online payment providers charge. 

Thus continues the sage of use-cases for Bitcoin, the currency of the internet. Ah, magic internet money working at its finest. I have never actually been on Rumble myself, so I was curious to check it out. Here are the current top creators:

The UI looks very similar to YouTube and Odysee, the two other video-sharing platforms that come to mind. The videos on these platforms are typically longer, and live streams are also widely prevalent. I don't put it in the same category as TikTok or Instagram, which focus more on short-form videos.

Anyway, that's the story. Will this new Bitcoin tipping feature help Rumble attract more new users? We shall see!
