I'm not really sure how I can follow a description like that: the description of the coffee on the actual box was enough for me to try it out. I mean, "a thermonuclear power plant in pod form?" Yes please! I was not really too impressed with the price per pod, at 50 cents a K-Cup, but it's decent enough nowadays. Seems like it was just two or three years ago I could get my coffee at 20 cents per pod. But I digress; the price of admission would be worth it. At least, so I thought.

I should first state that I, RocketEnthusiast, am a caffeine-a-holic. I run on that stuff; it powers me through every day. I probably consume anywhere from 300-500mg per day. That being said, my tolerance is probably much higher than the average person.

So, the taste was good -- extremely bold, and it was quite evident by the first sip that it was strong. I drank it black on the first cup to get the full experience of the actual coffee. It was quite enjoyable and had excellent flavor. As far as buzzing and tasting "like thunder" (as the box said), it definitely had the taste of thunder...but I needed a second cup to feel the thunder.

The second cup did it! I had that feeling, ready to take on anything and everything. So, I would say that Revv coffee is as advertised. It may be a tad expensive, when compared to other brands but it's worth it for that extra jolt.

For my next test, I would like to check out Death Wish. Depending on where you get it, it is much more expensive at $2.25-$3.00 per pod.
