Are Crypto Faucets Still Worth It?

If you're a regular reader of my posts, you know by now that I'm a big proponent of earning free crypto. If you didn't already know, I use several faucet apps and websites to do so. My favourites include:

  • Cointiply
  • YesCoiner
  • Bitcoin Cash Giveaway
  • Litecoin Giveaway
  • Tip Nano
  • Final Autoclaim
  • Crypto Junkie

These websites aren't going to make you rich! They probably aren't even worth most peoples' time any more. In fact, I would venture to make a bold guess that most people give up on crypto faucets long before they earn enough to make a withdrawal. So why do I continue to spend my time on these apps and websites?

The old investing adage goes "never invest more than you can afford to lose." That's just the beauty of crypto faucets. You don't lose anything but the time you invest into them. If you've got some free time and want to invest in crypto, then it makes sense to me to do so.

There's a reason we call it "crypto dust!" Such small amounts, you can barely see it! When you finally start making enough to withdraw to your wallet, it starts seeming to become worthwhile. I've been at it for over two years now; the beauty of it all is that when crypto prices appreciate your piles of dust start to accumulate into somewhat decent amounts. The key is to keep rolling those faucets! And remember, one hundred satoshis will always be worth one hundred satoshis.

I will add one caveat: crypto faucets have recently become riddled with potentially malicious links. Be very careful if you're making claims on PTC ads and shortlinks. Stick with faucets and apps that you trust. If you're in any kind of doubt, "x" it out. It's not worth it.

Be patient; it's a slow and steady grind, not a sprint. Crypto faucets are worth it, so long as you feel it's time well spent.

The original Bitcoin faucet is long gone, but there are still ways to collect some free crypto if you invest some of your free time:
  • Sign up here on Publish0x, if you haven't already, to earn free crypto for reading & writing content
  • Join Cointiply and roll the faucet every hour, view PTC ads, take surveys to earn free Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, or Dash
  • Downoad the Bitcoin Cash Giveaway to collect some free BCH sats, paid out weekly
  • Check out Yescoiner to easily collect some satoshis; no nonsense -- just solve a captcha. Low payout, slow drip here
  • Final AutoClaim is another facuet-style site that offers payouts in 74 different coins
  • For an entertaining, off-the-wall faucet, check out Crypto Junkie. Great for accumulating SPACE and SHIB
  • For rewards in XNO and BTC, check out TipNano app
