Where was I now?

It was dark by the time I was done. 

I dragged him to this place in the thicket. 

Owls called to me, wondering who broke the silence. Scowling on the branches above their den. 

Already centipedes and beetles emerged from the ground to claim their corner of sanctuary.

They must make haste before the crows included them in the feast.

My breath flammable, i exhaled mirages, quickly in short bursts.

If I could still my heart right now I could possibly walk across the sea to a new world.

A world without expectation. A world where society demands you to live. A world within a life I know.

I left this up to you. You left it up to me. Nobody made certain that we could leave uncertainty askew.

I just need to make it back to the bathroom floor.

Ill meet you later, in a clearing, in a seance. Im protected by fire. You are buried in ice. Your promises are empty. 

Im lost and turned around, but if I breathe hard enough, you sink into the ground. You are absorbed by the leaves. You become the ground. 

Or can I join you in this bed? We make a good team. Seems easier than the charades of another's leeching. The shifting of attention to an alien's esteem.
