Okay so, now that I've established my goal and where I'm starting from, it's time to dust off my old Trello board full of ideas and see what options I have to make this work and truly diversify my income. I will probably write separate posts about most of these ideas, but I still wanted to write a first very raw list of what I've had in mind for a while but never really acted on seriously. So let's start with what I can already actively act on.

Short term ideas

Disclaimer: This does not mean that I hope these projects will give me a short term profit or ROI, just that they're things that I can start asap and that don't require as much work and planning ahead as other ideas.

- Blogging: I need to up my Publish0x game. This is a great platform, with a great community and a great concept, so I need to write more. I already published 4 posts in January, so I'm off to a good start, but I need to be able to keep up with a good pace all year long. I may also post my articles to other platforms but I haven't found any that I liked as much as Publish0x.

- Selling stock footage: As I stated in my 2020 extra income report, I had been mostly uploading nature, wildlife and environment oriented pictures and videos on stock footage platforms. That is because I was not really shooting for stock, I was shooting for me and my Instagram accounts, and then uploading these images on Shutterstock mainly. This year, I'll shoot everything and anything that looks stock enough, and upload to different websites to reach a wider audience (at least Adobe Stock and Getty). I've already started just wandering around my apartment complex and my city and taking more "urban" pictures, that I'm less used to but would probably sell more.

- Interest accounts: My plan for this year is to send almost every crypto asset I will earn every month (from Publish0x, Brave rewards, earn programs, faucets, ...) to NEXO, to build up my interests. All the BAT will definitely be converted to DAI, I'm not sure what to do with my AMPL for now so I'm still holding on to it for now, and depending on what the upcoming tipping tokens will be on Publish0x, some might end up in my savings as well. 

- Crypto investments: I already bought some more BTC to surf on the crazy wave we've been experiencing and my plan is fairly simple: HODL and buy more if the price crashes drastically, cause I have faith in the fact that it will eventually go way higher than what we're seeing now, and convert some of it to DAI whenever I think I've made a good enough ROI, to then add the DAI to my NEXO savings.

- Designing and selling digital products: This is the one that demands the most work as it's the only one on this list for which I'm starting from scratch. I've been working on a "YouTube creator pack" containing different animations for a subscribe button, like/thumbs up and notification bell that I intend to sell. These are animations that I created and that I use for my client videos on Youtube, so I figured I might try to profit a bit more from these. I've been comparing platforms to sell on and I think Gumroad might be a good option, or possibly Motion Imperia, but I'm still working on figuring this out. Obviously, the objective is to invest little to no money, so I'm leaning towards free platforms, even though they take a higher commission on sales, because I don't think I would sell enough to cover the costs of a subscription based website at first. I'm also thinking of designing PDF products, most likely related to film making, lifestyle, teaching and planning (my wife's and my areas of expertise), that I would put up for sale as well, possibly on Etsy. The idea here is to generate a somewhat "passive" income (even though I don't believe any income can be truly 100% passive). I'll definitely let you guys know when all of this gets available!

In my next posts, I will talk about some off my bigger ideas and projects, that definitely need more thinking ahead but that I still intend to launch sometimes in 2021.
