Have you ever wondered how far can crypto reach?

How many people will need to start using cryptocurrency so that the fiat money will fail?

If gold can coexist with the dollar why couldn't Bitcoin coexist with the dollar or even better why couldn't Bitcoin coexist with gold?

What future are we looking for? What do we want?

Is it the future where Bitcoin is treated as fiat or a future where Bitcoin is treated as gold.

Can it represent both?

If the past has taught us anything, it is that no currency exists forever. It is either replaced or forgotten by the turmoil in the society

And even if Bitcoin becomes the new currency of the world, there is no guarantee it will last.

Even today, there are so many much better alternatives among cryptocurrencies when it comes to usability and the number of processed transactions in a certain amount of time.

Even though the Lightning-Network is providing a basic framework where Bitcoin could play the central role, there are hundreds if not thousands of hurdles on its way to the glory.

Today's modern society is based on fiat currencies (like the dollar, euro, yen and others). If we wish to replace them with a completely new currency, the entire economic and social structure has to change, and there is no guarantee that this change will be peaceful.

We should ask ourselves how far are willing to go to make Bitcoin the center as fast as we can, or should we just wait for the economy to run its natural tract.

Perhaps crypto will slowly replace the traditional financial system and there will be no need to dramatically change our way of living.

Perhaps the change will never happen and BTC will slowly dissapear.
