Faucet Crypto may be dying or dead

For probably 3 years or so I have also had Faucetcrypto.com listed as one of my open tabs.  I keep it open, daily, and do the 20 minute claim, the PTC's and so forth to gain coins.  Like most other faucet sites, you earn coins from various 'jobs' and then you trade in those coins for crypto upon withdraw.

I am sure you have seen this site or heard of it before as it has been around for a while.  I used to use it frequently but then stopped after I cashed out my last earnings.  I have earned about 0.01 BCH, 0.58 Raven, 0.0018 ZEC, 0.0011 Dash, 2.12 Doge and just recently 0.1697 QTUM.  These amounts have been since the middle of 2021.  So it hasn't been a high-paying site for me, but I haven't been spending every second of my life on it either.  I do the 20 minute faucet, and then do some PTC's and then that is it.

What really got me to write this up, is that the past few times that I have tried to withdraw, it has reported that the coins I had wanted to withdraw to, are out or under maintenance.  It is one thing when Dutchy Autoclaim is out for a day, but then they replenish the wallets.  Faucetcrypto has been out of most coins for months....

So I thought I would cash out what I had recently and it turns out, that they show my QTUM as being completed, but my wallet is still empty and the QTUM block explorer has no record of the transaction ID.

It's dead Jim.

I have since then contacted support and asked for help.  I have given them the information that the site provides to me, like amount, transaction id and so forth.

***Update****

A week after I had written this and Faucetcrypto came back to me to let me know that the transaction failed on their end and they refunded the amount to me. How much was it? 10,000 coins.  The average PTC is 20 seconds long and rewards with about 10 coins.  Figure that is 1,000 PTC's worth or 334 minutes worth of PTC's to earn the reward.  This doesn't count the time taken to do the recaptcha, wait a few seconds and then get the link to the actual PTC.  I turned those refunded coins into ZEC and sent it to my wallet.  The problem then, is that after I got those coins, the amount that I received was a mere 0.0131 zec.  At the current value, that is 41 cents worth of coins.  So, that came to almost 6 hours of my time for 41 cents?!?!?

Not worth it.

PRO:

I like this site's claiming method as it is mostly PTC, for me, and when I do that, I have around 30 or 40 PTC's to do and claim from.  Which is a great "PRO".

CON:

But as a "CON", if it doesn't pay at all, because their wallets are all empty or under maintenance, then why bother?

I would average about 50 seconds, from the time taken to click on the PTC offer, the wait time for the captcha verification to show up, the time to do the thing, then the time to get directed to the link to do the actual PTC, then click the "submit" button and get back to the site.

I have removed it from my dailies and deleted my account.  For the time spent to get the rewards, I would personally try something else.

Review of Crypto sites and how to Really earn free
Review of Crypto sites and how to Really earn free

I am always disgusted when I see people who claim to be experts in Crypto and then tell you how you can get rich in crypto by spending this much money. Well, what do you do if you don't have money to invest at all? Are you just left out in the cold or in the dark? No. I have been actively exploring crypto sites this year and while I am no expert, I will tell you my honest experience with websites and rate and review them.
