Words

By Shelley M. Latreille

Mask

Start smoking my poetry.
My words will add colorful and twisted flavors to your mind.
Your brain will string together favorite flavors like
Christmas tree lights placed upon a starving house.
The vapors will bring forth your innermost imaginary realities.
The vapors left behind by the imagery will leave you fulfilled and
will assist you with sorting out any contradictions and alleviate any regret.
Your known senses will be heightened.
Your third eye will brighten and shine silvery sweet.
My words continue to spiral out, rain influence down upon you,
spiral even more, and transform back to written words on paper.
Your eyes rapidly absorb words and decipher content.
