Today, August 17, Bitcoin has surpassed $ 12,000 at the time of writing this.
This price level has been a very strong resistance for a long time. We didn't see these price levels for 1 year, concretely since July 2019. If we look further back to 2019, the only time that Bitcoin has been above $ 12,000 has been during the BULL RUN of 2017.
Are we in the new Bull Run?
Well, this is a difficult question to answer right now eventhough we have all the sings to say so. Most of the altcoins had seen an increase in price as well as Bitcoin,I am reading a lot of HYPE in twitter and my experience says that when everybody is convinced to one thing CRYPTO manages to make the opposit.
I don't want to be pessimist and I would love to be in a Bull Run again. The last Bull Run was epic and felt amazing, we have been in this crypto winter for a really long time and now we deserve some fun!
How will the next Bull Run be ?
Some people say that it will be parabolic like the last one, some say that will be even more explosive.
I loved the last one, however I think that it will be more healthy if we see a slow and steady rise, like the one we have been in the last weeks.
Human nature doesn't like the slow and steady rise, human nature if emotional and FOMO will kick in sooner or later. I think the point that will make that happen is when Bitcoin reaches $ 20,000 and all the news and media start to talk about Bitcoin again.
How you bet that they will say again that is a bubble!
How many times should we show how valuable this technology is so they will stop calling Bitcoin a bubble?
Some people will never change their mindset, and I like it. They will miss the train and they will get in really late. I will be enjoying it so much!
