Hello!
This afternoon I have finished the book The Dip: A Little Book That Teaches You When to Quit (and When to Stick) by Seth Godin.
A really good book, and a must read if you like Self-Development. After I finished I have started looking for more books for the coming days. I work from 8 to 2pm and I have a lof of free time, more than I am used to, and I fucking love it.
I have a list of recommendations in my smartphone. Everytime I find a book that looks interesting I write the name on this list. Now it has been the time to buy the following books, Amazon is a good place to buy them as you can find it quite easy at "reasonable" prices.
If I find a used book I buy this instead of a new one, I like to buy used books.
The first one is How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie. I had this book on my mind since the first time I read their title. I think that could bring me new information that can be really valuable, and also can help me buidl new skills.
The inevitable by Kevin Kelly is about the new technologies that will arise and become relevant in the future, it also tries to predict how life will be in the future with the new emerging technologies and their use cases.
Awaken the giant within by Anthoni Robbins is about Self-Development. Anthony Robbins is one of the best coaches in the world. I personally like how he uses their vocabulary to explain complex ideas. He provides really useful information that can help you improve radically your life.
Think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill the book explains some "principles" around finances and success:
- Thoughts are things
- Desire
- Faith
- Autosuggestion
- Specialized Knowledge
I think that this 4 books are the best books to read this lockdown. I have selected them from my long list of books that I have been collection over years. My goal is to read them all, but as the lists keeps growing it will require a lot of effort.
