Blockchain and EU - Good News or Bad News?

By Teodor | Circular Economy Projects | 26 Feb 2020

I just found out that the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI) went live few days ago, on February 12, 2020. Good news, or bad news for us?!

Good news is that the blockchain use cases are expanding, bad new is that European Commission will do all they can to control blockchain.

However, private centralized blockchain use cases are welcomed as long as governments and political institutions do not force us to give them all our private data and all our money by imposing high taxes on blockchain projects and on cryptocurrency transactions.

Good news is that they cannot control everything regarding bitcoin and blockchain! Even if transactions are very transparent, they still need a lot of work to find out who is behind that. Still it is a good think that CIA and other institutions can find the criminals, even if the investigation is harder and takes maybe longer than in old school methods of catching criminals.

But i like very much the fact that some state institutions are getting aware about the power of Blockchain!

So, I encourage you to create and/or join as many as possible blockchain and crypto projects. Success!
