The absent element that in cinema, in one way or another, ends up provoking a strong feeling of sadness has been haunting me since I was a child. Hidden for years as an out of frame resource, elliptical, of what comes to be longing, emotion, phantasmagoria, I remember it first on Sunday days, watching a movie in the afternoon session; then I think of the images of an almost empty cinema.
