The race is over and finally I can declare victory!

The objective was to see which entire token I could acquire for free, Solana or LiteCoin.

• Trading (slightly problematic as staking ties it up for several days and market conditions can waver)

Furthermore, as I thought the Publish0x tips may be the decisive factor, LiteCoin had a 0.16 head start. 

For a long time I predicted that Solana would overcome LiteCoin's initial lead and win despite the head start and then earlier in the month I thought it'd be a draw. 

Two things that changed things was the explosion of the Solana price (and while LiteCoin has also increased in price it has not grown as much as Solana has comparitively) which made it more expensive to buy and my recent unpreviously utilised participation in the Cointiply Chat facility which meant that suddenly I was getting Coins from the Chat Pool and hitting my daily streak every day. This in itself probably added a minimum of 250 extra coins ($0.025) every single day and often more. 

To summarise, I increased my purchasing power for LiteCoin and my purchasing power for Solana went down significantly.

Therefore it will be of no surprise to you when I tell you that LiteCoin edged it, but it was still very close.

Yesterday morning when I declared victory, the final amount of LiteCoin was 1.00571019 whereas Solana came in at 0.987896278.

The thing that surprised me the most was that I thought that once Solana got ahead, which it did, I thought it would stay there, but you can see the monthly amounts (each represented as a step) began to falter. The staking rewards only added 0.0142 Solana to the pile during this period. The big step Solana took in April was down to additional P0x rewards after testing the app. Concerning LiteCoin, the strange line in mid-October 2025 was a day trade and it was literally the best single trade I have ever done - I wrote about it at the time. I had read that LiteCoin would peak at about £100, although the date was non-specific and so I swapped it for USDC when it hit that price and literally the next day it dropped to such an extent that my traded 0.3 LiteCoin became 0.347 LiteCoin (please note I did not trade everything, rather a round amount - 0.3 - to keep the numbers easy), so about 13% profit and I also kept some USDC as change out of the same deal.

So, there you have, it the race is over and now I am going to sit on my LiteCoin, but continue to grow my Solana, as I think it is a real winner.

So while LiteCoin won the race the champion in the end is more likely to be Solana.

Either way it doesn't matter because it is free and my Solana acquisitions will continue to be free even if they slow down because I am going to start stockpiling my P0x USDC again.
