Yes, this is about my race to acquire an entire token of either Solana or LiteCoin first. The race is now drawing to a conclusion and my last prediction was that it would be a draw as I cash out my P0x for the end of September and convert the WHOLE dollar amount to Solana (with the cents just adding to my USDC stockpile that I am steadily rebuilding having moved it all to BitCoin at the market low during this current season) at the same time as I cash out my Cointiply for LiteCoin.
Given the changing landscape over the last month and in particular over the last couple of week I can now fairly confidently make a solid prediction and that being that LiteCoin will win and I expect it to cross the line in about a week, timed to coincide with one week tonight / tomorrow as my P0x USDC comes in.
D-Day will be 28th September.
I really do not expect the race to go beyond that date, and I may be wrong as often proven in the past, but let me explain my reasoning.
A Snapshot - A point in Time
@Sunday 20th September at 11.10am
So, as you can see Solana is still has quite a lead, but it is the unrealised / claimed amount of both assets that make the difference.
Solana has three sources of income
- Converted Publish0x USDC at the end of each month
- DutchyCorp Faucet
- Staking on Coinbase
LiteCoin has Sources of Income
- Cointiply
- DutchyCorp Faucet
- CoinPayU / RewardJoy
In both cases DutchyCorp is really quite irrelevant because having claimed both recently they are well under the withdrawal threshold. For Solana the staking is so low that it is insignificant and for LiteCoin while I thought it might matter CoinPayU / RewardJoy has just passed 1000 of their Coins( 1 USD in Coin value) I also discovered just this morning that they have changed the LiteCoin withdrawal threshold to 5000 of their coins, so it will be a while before I claim on it.
So it all comes down to my regular sources.
For Solana I need to get another 0.05403 which comes out at $5.82 based on my snapshot above, but I anticipate converting just 4 USDC, which will leave me with a shortfall.
For LiteCoin I need to get another 0.12081 which comes out at $6.82 based on my snapshot above. I am currently holding 59,400 Cointiply Coins worth $5.94, which again represents a shortfall of a 1.12 USD (which is why I thought the CoinPayU / RewardJoy element might be significant). However, the difference is that while I do not see any more significant income coming in for Solana I am adding a conservative 900 Coins a day on Cointiply which will add another 5400 Coins in the next seven days to bring my total up to 64,400.
Conclusion - Oops!

I had already started writing this fairly confident the line would be crossed on 28th September as all of my figures seemed to demonstrate that I would received the required 12% in LiteCoin comfortably. However, as you can see from the image above, it is more likely to fall short and all I can think is that there must have been a surge in LiteCoin price overnight to knock my calculations out of kilter.
So, rather than delete I thought I would show you my process and it might be a draw after all with both coins coming home in October.
I would like to be wrong, because then I will be right lol and we should always own up when we get it wrong! That's called integrity!
As always stay safe and well my friends.
