The last few hours...

The last few hours...

Time is ticking.

The march of time is insatiable and keeps going with the monotony of a metronome (even if it does seem to speed up as you get older - remember how eternal those summer holidays seemed to be and yet in the UK it was only a mere six weeks). So in approximately 9 hours I will be leaving my home town, the place of my origins, and judging by recent patterns I won't be back for another couple of years.

Having said that the boys are getting older. Older_Rah has been, he came when he was about one and a half, but Younger_Rah has yet to travel abroad and so logically this should be his first destination outside of where we live now.

So, never say never.

It is always sad to say goodbye, but then I will be back with my family who i have not seen - apart from the occasional WhatsApp face time - since 2nd September. Well, actually I saw Mama_Rah very early the next morning when she got up to see me off, but we didn't disturb the boys.

It was 3am after all when my taxi came.

My hope for tomorrow is that I will arrive in time to go and pick them up from pre-school and nursery, but that is in the hands of the airport and flight. My arrival when I came was 30 minutes late and that can make all the difference and especially if I am waiting in baggage reclaim for a substantial amount of time - as indeed I was on my arrival in the UK.

So it is all up in the air, but never mind, my aspiration remains the same.

As tomorrow is a traveling day I am going to write tomorrow's post a bit later on and upload it before my flight; so I will let you know how tomorrow went on Wednesday.

As always stay safe and well my friends.
