Target: 1 FREE BTC with a Helping Hand from Faucets

By rah | rah | 6 Jun 2022

I have been in investing in crypto now for almost exactly two years and despite the recent rampage of the bears I am pleased to say at this moment in time I am up over all.

I also have set myself in recent weeks the ambition of achieving 1 FREE BTC as I continue to invest. I am currently at 0.009% so I have some way to go. What is nice is that although just short of 1% this is still a nice little sum.

One thing that helps is that I am dumping any free BTC into Celsius where it steadily stakes.

The last couple of tokens I have acquired through Coinbase Earn have also been converted into BTC and transferred to Celsius.

However, the best way forward in terms of getting free BTC, aside from Celsius referrals, seems to be faucets which brings me neatly to my first and favourite.

However, just before I get there, one problem I have encountered with Celsius is that its BTC address doesn’t seem to fit most faucets so I have to go through the process of dropping it into an exchange first before moving it on.

Cointiply

Cointiply is reliable and while it can take some time to build up an amount that can be withdrawn (50,000 Cointiply Coins - $5) unless playing endless games and completing tedious surveys. Personally I tend to just roll the faucet, watch the videos and look at the Point to Click ads. They also have a referral programme. I have reviewed it a number of times so why not have a look.

Please note some of this information is now out of date, but the principles remain true.

The golden thing about Cointiply is that its coins have a fixed USD price so cash them out when the bears are running. Recently I took just $5 because I knew the price was lower so I got more BTC for my dollar.

Nice.

Bitco.in

I came across this about a month ago and although reviews said it was painfully slow it is in my mind doing so long as you are doing something else in the background. I am a sceptic when it comes to using multipliers etc so I just roll the faucet wheel. One thing I have noticed though is that after a few days the minimum rewards to seem to drop – almost as if to say you are not playing fully so therefore I am not going to reward you so much. At 30,000 SAT they begin to offer “staking” at 5%. So my short term object which might take a year is to achieve and leave this amount on their system and then withdraw larger amounts beyond this and drop it into Celsius.

I have yet to withdraw from Bitco.in so would be interested in other people’s perspectives.

Bitcoinker

I only started using this a few days ago and it is much lower maintenance than Cointiply and already more rewarding than bitco.in. I don’t have so much yet, but I am already catching up even after three days.

Very simply you add your BTC address and make a claim every 5 minutes by filling in a reCAPTCHA up to 240 times a day and rewards can vary from 4 to 100,000  SAT (although I suspect that for the latter it is like rolling 10,000 on the Cointiply faucet – it never happens). So again it is something to have running in the background while doing something else.

My only concern at this stage is that I have entered my Coinbase address and as part of their security the change addresses every few days so it might be possible that all I have gained is lost by the time I achieve the right amount by either entering the new address or it not recognising the old address. Unfortunately as with other faucets it does not recognise my Celsius address directly

So in conclusion faucets do all add up over time and remember particularly with the fixed dollar value of Cointiply take advantage while the bears are running and they are running much harder and faster than they have done at any time I have experienced over the last couple of years.

As always stay well and stay safe my friends.
