Over the last few years I have been looking to improve and increase my passive income – the Holy Grail of all income.

Simply put passive income is income that generates itself although using the same principle as kinetic energy it needs a bit of a shove to get it going. Think of the classic example of rolling a stone down a hill. First you have to find such a stone and then you need to roll it over the cusp of the hill to get it going.

I have long term staking options in a few crypto assets whose prices are currently quite suppressed after the year that we call 2022 because there is simply no other name for it.

Those of you who know me also know that I have another major writing project that will hopefully become ever more expansive, but I am writing today to tell you about my first KDP project and in creating one I have joined the industrious legend who is our very own PVM,

KDP or Kindle Direct Publishing is an Amazon Service that allows anyone to publish an ebook for free that then becomes available on the Amazon network. While there are a few documents to fill in, including tax status, the process is indeed a very smooth one.

On Saturday I wrote a short Easter themed story called The Portal and yesterday after creating the account and cover work it took me literally less than five minutes – although it can take up to 72 hours for the work to go live. In my case it was less than an hour and there you go.

I am now both a published and self-published author and now I have my account set up the publication of any subsequent projects on KDP will literally take me the writing and uploading time.
