This is the post I wrote a few days ago, but more pressing posts jumped the queue.
About four years ago in my search for free BitCoin I came across FreeBitco.in which by all accounts is rated as highly as CoinPayu and Cointiply – from which I have received reasonable payouts and in Cointiply’s case it now adds up to about $120.
So, I thought I would give it a whirl and see what would happen.
At first it started well and I was stacking 3 to 4 sats an hour whenever I was able to roll the faucet wheel and so in short order I gained 10, 100 and then a 1000 sats with hardly any effort. I was targeting 30,000 sats because at that point 5% interest kicks in. I was able to roll between 5 and 10 times a day.
While it has games on the site, most notably the Hi-Lo game I refuse to play these because in the end you lose. They even openly admit that this one of the ways they fund the site. This is tantamount to gambling and something I am not interested in doing.
Anyway, back to the point. It looked like I would hit my target of 30,000 sats in May 2024, but then the price of BitCoin began to grow and the minimum rewards dropped down to just 2 sats. Yes, occasionally you can get higher rewards, depending on the roll, but almost always it is the lowest amount that is awarded.
So back to what happened next. Suddenly the price of BitCoin exploded and rewards were down to a single sat and I am still waiting to close in finally on the 30,000.
However I am getting closer and at around the point I acquired 28,500(ish), just before Christmas I set myself a target based on 5 rolls a day of achieving my goal by 8 August 2026 (just the way it calculated out) and I am pleased to say that I am already a month ahead of schedule, because I have been able to roll at a greater average than 5 a day and on a couple of occasions I have received the second tier reward which is currently 23 sats (or almost 5 days off my target).
So now with less than a thousand sats to go I am almost there.
A few last remarks to add before I draw this post to a close. Firstly I have never drawn on this “reserve” and can only base any idea of reliability on its rating and secondly the minimum withdrawal amount seems to be 30,000 sats; so if I want to keep the interesting ticking by it means that I will need to achieve 60,000 sats minimum before moving it. One thing that will help is that the interest will initially give me approximately 29 additional sats a week and this will compound. If my calculation is correct, it means another sat will be added to the weekly interest per 1040 sats acquired. So in the end it will finally compound. And finally, while I haven’t really looked into it yet, there 2 reward points are awarded per roll which can be converted later to BitCoin sats, but again you need a minimum of 100,000. I currently stand at about 32,000 points.
Is it worth it. That is a good question, but assuming that BitCoin does continue to inflate in price these smallish amounts maybe one day add up to something more significant.
As always stay safe and well my friends.
