I know I am among many who blog on here. We just need to look at the plethora of writing and the myriad of topics that are posted about so I am not alone when observing the latest update to the post editor.

The interface is cleaner and less cluttered for one thing. For example rather than having three buttons for paragraph layout, there is simply a drop down menu for which you can select your paragraph style. This in itself does make the whole thing look a lot tider than it was and I do like it.
Having said that, and I hope the team can follow what I am saying, I am already missing the <blockquote> element which I was using very frequently to either highlight something specific or break down a section an it provides a very natural divider in the flow of my writing.
So, P0x Team, it is just a little request, as much as I like what you are doing, but can we have the blockquote function back please?
I would have blockquoted the previous paragraph to make it stand out and that is a perfect illustration of what has been lost. Yes I could make it bold or I could Italic it.
Oops silly me!
As I was writing, I just suddenly had an idea. There is another drop down menu with Paragraph visible and I just thought I would give it a quick peek. Historically, it has contained header styles as well as the aforementioned paragraph style, but then suddenly I saw "Quote" - so I guess it has been moved too.
I had written too much to delete it so I guess I am saying in a round about way, that blockquote is still present.
One thing that I have noticed is that if you blockquote before adjusting your paragraph parameters "justify" is no longer available unless careful what you select.
As always stay safe and well my friends - lol
