In recent months I have enjoyed a return to blogging on P0x and I have been a big fan ever since I first joined. Family pressures are the main reason I disappeared. Having two children under the age of five is a major challenge - and especially for an older parent - which both MamaRah and I are. There are a number of reasons why we had children late, but reality is reality and somehow we have to keep up with them.

What changed is that the younger one, now 21 months old is settled into daytime nursery which has liberated a bit of time for both MamaRah and I. The older one of course is well settled in his preschool...

What has happened with my return is greater maturity and understanding of the dynamics that drive crypto - consider my more recent posts over some of my older ones. But that makes sense, life is a journey and we learn as we go - or pay the price and learn anyway however slowly (Just tell my BAND and Algorand holdings!).

I do hope that i bring something to the community and judging by the uptake and reception to my posts I think this might be the case - so thank you very much one and all.

As you can see the tone of this post is much lighter and there is no deep dive today and the reason why is because today is a day of celebration for today is my birthday - and if you track back you will see that once several years ago I also posted about it being my birthday - although I can't remember which year (Maybe 2020? - a few months before the arrival of my older child formerly known as BabyRah).

So I just want to wish you a happy day. Mine has started well and I hope that it will only get better.

LiteCoin is of particular interest to me as I am aiming to acquire it without cost - in other words for FREE. I am primarily sourcing this through CoinPayU, Cointiply and DutchyCorp AutoFaucet. I am also cautiously trading and I made one of my better calls on October 10-11 when the current downward spiral began. You may recall me posting about it? Very simply on 10th October it jumped by some 20% and it was a non-brainer that it would correct as such a daily surge would naturally lead to an immediate downturn even if the overall trend was upward. Of course I was right on this occasion and I added a further 0.15 LTC to my portfolio. In terms of value it doesn't add up to much, but in terms of percentage it was a massive gain. 

I am currently holding 0.57 LTC.

I have been a recent convert to Solana as a project and with JP Morgan recently aligning with it I do believe it will attract more real world usage which is the biggest single green light for any Crypto in my view. It is in the doldrums at the moment but it is a coin I am pumping a significant amount of my USDC staking rewards in as I do believe that its future is bright.
