"And We made from water every living thing"
The world is witnessing a continuous increase in demand for natural resources due to the increase in population, and fresh water is considered one of the most important resources for humans, as the World Health Organization estimates that each person needs 15 liters of water per day. Fresh water for basic uses such as: drinking, cooking, and hygiene, and the United Nations estimates the daily amount of water needed per person between 50-100 liters for personal and household uses, including washing clothes, personal and household hygiene, and other activities. Conserving water is important due to its importance and the limited sources. Although 70% of the Earth’s surface is covered with water, less than 1% of it is available for human consumption.

The human body contains an amount of water estimated at 65%, as the human body must receive a specific amount of water daily to maintain its healthy and healthy life, and this amount depends on several factors, including the gender of the human being and the geographical location in which he lives. It needs to consume approximately 3 liters of water per day, and the adult female needs 2.2 liters per day, and these quantities can be obtained by drinking fluids directly and eating some foods that contain quantities of water.

As well as humans, animal bodies also need fresh water to be able to live. Water regulates the temperature of their bodies, contributes to the absorption of nutrients, disposes of body waste, and maintains body weight and health. The lack of water leads to the disruption of many of these basic functions, so the animal loses a tenth of the amount of water in the body. His body leads to his death.

I have a habit to put water and bread sometimes for the birds , a habit that i inherited from my beloved father , may God have mercy on him . My father always recommended me to do good, including watering and feeding animals , especially the birds, because we are used to see them around in our little garden.

Feeding a bird or sheltering a stray dog, or quenching thirst of someone are among the noblest acts that can be done by humans . To have a heart that shares the concerns of others is a heart of gold, a heart full of beautiful feelings that has the ability to comfort and ease the sufferings of the others, including animals . This is humanity at its best image , which distinguishes us in the first place , and which must be strengthened and celebrated throughout such acts towards weak creatures living among us, beautifying nature and making our hearts happy in return .
Once upon a bloody hot day of summer time , i was sitting in the backyard of our house , looking for a cold breeze in the hot weather when my eyes fell on a wasp drinking water.

The image of that wasp drinking water was pinned in my memory, it stirred up my consciousness about the importance of water , its use and its conservation as a holy divine grace . We all use water definitely , but not all of us use it moderately . Henceforth, I become more careful about using water , for example, I began watering my garden plants with the water I use in washing fruits and vegetables and spare water as much as possible. This is the first step to take so that we fulfill our role in conserving water taking into consideration that the drops we may waste could save lives elsewhere.

That little wasp drinking water awakened in me many things whom we do not give importance with our daily occupations and life's hardships . A wasted drop of water costs a lot indeed.

We consume water along the day during our lifetime , but we do not use it rationally , sometimes, we even use it excessively ، squandering it unconsciously or unaware that it's the elixir of life, or even it is life itself.

It is no secret to anyone that water is an invaluable wealth and that it is in constant shortage all over the world, especially in some countries where drought persists, rain decreases and rivers dry .

Therefore, managing fresh water resources is considered a local and global challenge, and it is important to conserve water, rationalize its use, and avoid wasting it in unnecessary uses and quantities so that it remains available for future generations.

We are all summoned to conserve and use water wisely without wasting it if we want to survive in this world and for the continuity of the upcoming generations as well.

It is nice act to water the animals, especially in this summer when heat and drought abound. Quenching thirst is a charity and a good act , whether for humans, animals or even plants, but we must take into account that this felicity is undergoing a scarcity all over the world and may disappear one day, which will lead to the inevitable death of all living creatures on the surface of the earth if we continue to misuse it carelessly.

I hope that every one gets aware of this issue and realizes the importance of water for our life in order to take the initiative to spare it as much as he can.
Thanks for taking time to read.
