Deeply pained to see my universe in ruins
To witness nations and brothers in wars
Deeply pained to know wealths spoiled in weapons
While poors live needy under the poverty lines
I am crying my beloved earth suffering throes
Ashamed of man's blood stained hands
Causing all the world's disasters
From global warming passing by famine to creature extinctions
What would our motherland say to us if one day talks
How long nature would bear our irreverence
How could we explain our attitudes and bad behaviors
The environment is permanently showing us the consequences
But we are determined to stay blind eyes On our demolishing acts
Betweenwhiles we feel that the world is seeking resolutions
but all summits show that conventions remain confined to tables and decisions in drawers
What a world we are going to inherit the future generations
Our planet is dying in silence
I am deeply pained to remain speechless
Before such rhetorical questions
