Who claims that childhood ends once when we reach adulthood is wrong. Who can definitively decide that the child we were once no longer exists?!!. This wondering Ieads me to like and believe in Gandhi's famous statement that the best teachers in life are the children.

As long as we keep memories of our childhood, and many details reminding us from time to time of the beautiful years of our lives, we also keep the soul of that child whom we were once, still keep his spirit within us, but in the chaos of life's hardships, we forget his existence , in other words, we neglect that extraordinary child full of joy, smiles and motivation for a reason or another.

Indeed, I personally experienced that amazing feeling of a child in my adulthood. One day, when my gaze rested on the swing, I was overwhelmed by a wave of emotions, I remembered the best years of my childhood, of exuberance, daze, truthful love and even the childish naughtiness .

The swing was my favorite game, I didn't know why I had a weakness for it at the time, but when I grew up and tried it again, I discovered a lot of feelings that aroused in me, a bunch of different feelings of freedom, detention, the feeling of having wings like a bird to fly higher, further, a beautiful dream that touches the imagination during the swing aiming only at the blue horizon higher and higher forward ,  watching the world from above the sky, ignoring everything around me as if I was moved to another world full of love, hope, happiness and contentment , devoid of any constraints, problems, human grudge or hatred.

The beauty of the childhood years is equal to nothing, it symbolizes the innocence and purity that we have lost over time, dreams that we have forgotten or that we have exchanged for others susceptible to suit the current life, it is the clue to positive vibes turning the world upside down . The swing is just one thing among many others, representing a part of the past buried in the far unconsciousness, but which comes into life off and on , giving rise to the exaltation of joy and ardor for life.

I believe that we really own another form of childhood whatsoever the   faces are wrinkled, it is just hidden there deep inside, defying our past years, a childhood that still lingers inside refusing to let us grow older during our submergence in everyday life.

In fact , we all have this little child within us, deep inside us, hibernated during our difficult moments and  all the tribulations of our existence, but he wakes up each time life smiles at us, because the latter, I mean life, returns the smile only to those who smile at it , this is the philosophy of the child, an unacquired but rather innate philosophy that he uses to enjoy life as it should be without any complications and without taking into account the future that the majority of adults  worry about  in vain.

It is the simplicity of the childhood towards life , the innocence of the childish spirit, and the purity of the hearts that teaches us the way to live peacefully and happy , a wiser teacher more than any other great knowledgeable elder .

Life doesn't require to be more complicated than it already is, it only needs to behave like a little kid who is surprised at the slightest thing, who smiles with a simple gesture and who loves everything by heart with his good intention  pure soul and beautiful eyes .

My nostalgia for the swing is just a pretext or a way to emphasize the importance of keeping the little kid anchored in our hearts in order to resuscitate him at the right times when we absolutely need him most in intensive circumstances especially in the darkest ones .

I am not amazed that Gandhi's statement proves to be true at the end, because most of us know the genius of this farsighted man, i am more  stunned by our neglect of the way to happy life which is between our own hands, through adopting a simple vision to life, a view of the world with the kid's eyes whom we bury as soon as we grew up unfortunately.
