Prompt for today's story is "SUBJECT". The task is to write a story that must be a maximum of 240 characters long.  So here is my story for this prompt. 

You Can't Fool Mom

Isra changed the subject quickly when her mom asked about grades.
"Look at that bird!" she pointed outside.
Her mom wasn't fooled. "Nice try. Now show me your report card."
Isra sighed. Changing the subject never really works with moms.
