Neon - Original Poetry by Krisz Rokk

Neon (Original Poetry)

By Krisz Rokk | Quantum Poems | 2 Aug 2025

Cry if you can
when rose petals sway
as you detach the ropes
hoping the enslavement ends.

You volunteered
to partake in the experiment.
Stand still, remember the swing
it’s a pendulum
squeezing your pineal gland from within.

The mist lifts
I gaze into infinity
realizing it’s the same laboratory
found in every Garden of Eden.

What a boring replica,
and you call yourself a genie?

Creatures pass by
verifying the cords
attached to innocent spines.
Finally, I witness the wiping of memory cards.

There’s the cube
you encrypted on my timeline
I notice the speed of light
a fragile veil meant to keep you stuck.

My roar breaks the silence
I am Draco’s deserted son
one more line of code, and I’m done:
Enjoy the upgraded version of the diamond spark.

Neon, stop!
Catch him quickly
he will sabotage us again
just like he did last time.
