Is Hydrogen Power ushering in a new Era of Green Energy? Perhaps, that waits to be seen long term, we all know that Hydrogen fuel cells don't produce emissions. However, the production of those cells does. To what degree you ask? It produces more than the Global Airline industry produces according to Bank of America. Additionally, the cost of Hydrogen production is the highest of all alternative energy at $9 to $19 kilogram. How do other energies stack up based upon cost? Nat Gas comes in at $1.6 and coal comes at $3.3. Compounding the Hydrogen Fuel issue is the lack of stations to refuel so Americas Nikola Truck manufacturer was said to address this by making its own Fuel along the way via an Electrolyzer - splitting water atoms and producing energy. Seems this is not as far along as they have alluded and there stock and company have been hammered that last two weeks in the media and markets.
