GM Unveils Cadillac Flying Car For Wealthy / Ultra-Rich SCI-FI Future
Yesterday (Tuesday 1/12/21) GM stole the show at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) with two unveilings.
1) Cadillac Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) vehicle
2) and their Electric Shuttle - described as a "mobile living room" designed for comfort. Perhaps working to/from work etc.
GM's vice president of global design, Michael Simcoe, said the car manufacturer is "preparing for a world where advances in electrics and autonomous technology make personal air travel possible." The company provided no further information if there was a working VTOL or if testing has been conducted.
Game Changing Statement - "Flying drones and robotaxis will absolutely disrupt the transportation of goods and people in the near term as this technology is being rushed into use."
No indication on sizing of units, pricing nor quantities available. I will be waiting on more info!
