In an Unexpected move, iFixit has pulled its report, which it had prepared a few days ago on Samsung's folding phone "Galaxy Fold" on their request, where the report carries many surprises, especially because of the technical problems that suffered and which prompted the company to withdraw the new phone from Testers and postpone its official launch.
The famous iFixit website announced that it had decided to withdraw the report it had prepared, in which the phone was "dissected" to determine its capabilities and ease of repair. It came out with a number of shocking conclusions For example:
-The screen is fragile and components are difficult to replace and repair, especially the battery.
-Removing the protective layer of the screen necessarily damages the device.
-the phone maybe capable of carrying 200,000 folds in the laboratory by robots but Human use is so different which mains that it could be demaged by few number of "human foldings"
After this report ,iFixit concluded to give only 2/10 points to "Folding phone."
Due to pressure from the South Korean company, iFixit said that its submission to Samsung's request, which came through an intermediary (and he was the same person who laddered a copy of the Galaxy Fold phone to the site) was due to iFixit respect for that person as a partner and ally of the site, and that it is not related to any matters Legal or otherwise.
