How To Use Publish0x

The Internet, Social Media, Websites, And Money Is Changing

What exactly am I talking about? Let me elaborate. Since the launch of one of the most exciting technology ever things have continued to evolve at breakneck speeds. The technology that I am referring to is the information superhighway. Websites, when first launched were clunky and didn't seem safe enough to enter payment details onto them. It wasn't until we come up with encryption that I felt remotely safe enough to do such a thing.

Since that time, we have increased data speeds and went from the old loud dialup modems to ethernet cables, to wifi! Things are always evolving and changing. Some like it change others not so much. I for one love change, technology, AI, deep learning and the like. Now the way we use the internet has also demanded to keep up with the changes.

Content creators would have to be rewarded by running Adsense or something similar on their websites to get paid for ad impressions. These ads can be intrusive and when you tried to read the content on the website you landed on there were pop-ups and other annoying features that caused people to build web extensions that would block ads. In order for this to happen, we had to trade our privacy to be free from ads.

Now it is evolving again. Websites are getting built on the blockchain, social media sites the same thing. These new changes also bring about confusion and aggravation to those that are a little less tech-savvy than others. The implementation of blockchain tech and cryptocurrencies are changing the way we create content and are paid for that content.

A big reason I believe that mass adoption hasn't taken place with cryptocurrency yet, people hear horror stories from friends that lost all their funds because they forgot a wallet password and didn't write down their recovery phrases and could not recover their funds. Not the fault of crypto but of the user. People are quick to push blame on everything and anything than to admit their own faults. Nothing wrong with it that is human nature.

Getting Rewarded For Your Attention

That is why it is helpful to have tutorials to guide us along. Today there are huge opportunities with cryptocurrencies. My 17-year-old nephew switched from Facebook and Twitter to social sites that pay crypto and made over $800 for doing what he was doing on Facebook and Twitter. Nothing special he didn't promote posts or pay for ad campaigns just posted the same as he did on the other platforms and made over $800!

That is freaking awesome. What does this have to do with Publish0x? When you come to Publish0x you can tip your favorite author or article you read with the money from a pool that is generated by sponsors on site. You don't have to add any money to this pool you just use the slider at the bottom of every article and offer as high a percentage as you wish to give the author and that you wish to keep yourself.

This is what the banner running across the top of the site looks like. Choose from whatever topic you wish to learn about or that you are interested in knowing more about. Once you've navigated to the post and have read through it at the bottom of the page you'll see a box like this one.

351665157-2b4bcdbd2ecfc3e752cb36e12b63d1ce7bd26698136baff1ac232a68159889e5.png

The little blue dot in on the slider, you can just slide it to the left to increase your tip to the author or slide it to the right a bit and keep a little for yourself. It will show you the percentages as you move it left and right.

Once you've decided on the percent just click the big blue tip button right there on the far right side.

Once you have pushed the button a timer will appear and you won't be able to tip another author until it counts back down to zero. This is employed to stop people from gaming the site. You also won't be able to tip the same author for 24 hours. For instance, you're reading my Publish0x tutorial right now if you've found it helpful and informative just leave me a little tip but if you happen to land on another one of my articles instead of seeing a timer counting down from 8.5 minutes it will be counting down 24 hours.

To check your balances just click your username in the top right-hand corner.

  • Dashboard
  • Authors you follow
  • Ambassador Program
  • Settings
  • Logout

Which leads me right into the next section of this tutorial. You can make a little more money being an Ambassador for Publish0x. You can navigate to the Ambassador link through your drop-down menu and find your affiliate link. You can also just add your personal tracking link to the end of any URL of an article you are reading. For example, let's say you wanted to share this article and your affiliate link was (yourafflink)and my article link was https//myawesomearticle(.)com. To share this and get credit if someone reding offsite joins Publish0x simply http//myaweesomearticle(.)com/yourafflink

Of course, these are just examples. This is not the URL for this article and your affiliate link is not yourafflink! Just head over to the Ambassador section and get your real link then grab your favorite article and start sharing all over Facebook and Twitter, LinkedIn and everywhere else you may frequent. The more signups you get the more money you can make.

Next, how do you check your funds and how do you withdraw? Head to that drop-down message we already talked about and click Dashboard. Once there you'll something similar to this. It will just have your name and your information, not mine lol!

My dashboard says that because I am an author on Publish0x. You can apply to become an author but in the Beta version they are limiting how many people can write for them, but it never hurts to try if you're interested in writing. You can also see at a glance your coin balances. To withdraw your funds make sure you have met the minimum payout requirements for the coin you wish to withdraw and you'll also need a wallet that accepts the coin you wish to withdraw.

I use Coinbase.

I hope this tutorial has been helpful to you. I hope you enjoy your experience on Publish0x as well as all the other readers and writers here who have come to love it. I love getting feedback for posts I publish feel free to offer feedback, give me a follow and hope you stick around awhile! It takes both of us to make this successful me and the rest of the authors here to spin out content and you and the rest of the readers that come and gobble it up! Have a great morning, afternoon, or night wherever you are in the world!
