One of the most attractive aspects of credit cards are their rewards. Being able to earn some points and then spend those points with discounts or gift cards, that could change very soon

as the world of crypto currencies could bring a new dimension to this sector

Imagine if you could spend your debit card and receive BTC as a reward, sounds very interesting, due to the large volume of users that this currency attracts every day. Forbes recently reported, the San Francisco Fold application has joined Visa in making this happen.

The idea has substantial support. because just over 90% of users would be willing to get their rewards at BTC, 

Fold's CEO Will Reeves told Forbes

"If people still don't understand Bitcoin as money, they will certainly understand it as a reward."

And although Bitcoin adoption has stagnated since 2017, and often gains millions of new users, wallets continue to grow.

This might sound like some kind of strategy or something similar to make the currency even better known, but it should be taken into account that if it is like a strategy, this would have a very good support among the millions of users that there are today with this currency

The idea is still in its infancy, but if Fold is successful, we can expect to see other crypto startups follow this model.
