what is psychoactive activism??

By trulyte | Psychoactive activism | 8 Mar 2020

One might find themselves asking what it means to be an activist for psychoactives. When put bluntly, it refers to one who speaks out and acts in the name of freedom and equality for the psychoactive community and those interested in psychoactives:)

Does that mean that they want people to ingest psychoactives? No. That is not what activism is about. Due to the amount of propaganda and misleading information about each individual psychoactive, it's wise to say that a psychoactive active wants everyone researching and learning, getting a more accurate picture of what each psychoactive is, especially if they have intent to ingest any. Learn the effects. Learn it's duration, learn the chemical makeup, learn its mechanism of action that leads to its psychoactive properties. And I personally want to point out that I hope everyone learns the specific and detailed history of each psychoactive. Always be aware of what you are putting in your body. Always check your facts. Always verify your sources of information.

Let's start with a basic one. Johnny wants to smoke weed, his friend tried it and he has heard heard intriguing talk about it. Prior to the development of his urge to experiment, Johnny has been assured that if one smokes marijuana they might try and jump off a building or cook a baby. This information he heard from his parents, his teachers and even his peers. He basically grew up hearing it. One aspect of psychoactive activism is to determine the nature of a psychoactive and its effects upon ingestion. The goal in this scenario is for Johnny to be able to find information that is more fact and less propaganda. Ideally, to find pure fact and no propaganda .

Another aspect of psychoactive activism is to make widely available the most accurate information, concerning psychoactives.

What I consider to be the most critical role in psychoactive activism is ensuring the rights good people naturally have. Ensuring those rights in the face of an ongoing campaign of bigotry, dehumanization, slander and propaganda. A campaign aimed at the psychoactive community and those who support it.

This blog is intended to introduce you to psychoactive activism. That is, standing up against the oppression targeting those who imbibe psychoactives. Is it right to stigmatize those who think differently than ourselves? Who is suffering at the hands of who in this, dare I say, "War on Drugs"? If one was caught up in a mob and ended up doing the Unforgivable, is it in anyway justifiable? Dehumanization, imprisonment, isolation. I blog in hopes of kindling our resolve for returning human rights.
