Before we get started, I'd like you to know that I run a telegram group where I give my altcoin buy and sell signals. I warned my members about the impending doom coming to alts, and we got out before the altcoin dump. Join now to know which alts we're picking up! Join here!
Now let's get started!
I'm a lover of liquidity analysis. I dedicated 6 months of my life to learn it in depth, and that is what I have done for the past 6 months. Learnt, and practiced.
What happened today was a pure liquidity example. The scales were tipped ever so slightly, and everyone paid the price, both bulls and bears.
Let's have a look, shall we?
In today's analysis, I shared that Bitcoin had very boring price movement. While this was the case, it was only to blind us from the real truth: People were selling a lot of Bitcoin, but someone was buying it all up.
In essence, there was one large whale absorbing all the sell orders created. He essentially eliminated all the sellers.
Let's look at my chart to see what I did wrong in the analysis.

In all my euphoria of being right about BAT pumping, I missed something essential.
Notice the collection of red and green candles at the top range. For every red candle that closed, there was a corresponding green one that opened. All about the same height, less the wicks.
From a liquidity point of view, this shows accumulation. Someone knew that people were selling at bargain prices, and the person wanted some of that sugar.
In the end, the sellers got exhausted. And while we were enjoying our altcoin party, Bitcoin pumped to the heavens. The rest is history.
Essentially, supply outweighed demand, but demand was only one guy. He absorbed all the BTC(just like the infinity gauntlet when Thanos fought iron man on Titan, and absorbed the energy from the missiles),and then released them. That caused the pump.
Essentially, Bitcoin is now out of its annoying range, but would soon be forming a new one. The premise of this range is different as well, and so is the high and low. I will update these in my chart as time goes on.
That's the basic explanation. Of course a lot of other factors came into play, but the end result is the same: We pumped.
